Even as votes continue to be counted tonight, the official website of Enrique Peña Nieto has already announced that Peña Nieto has already won the presidency, returning the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) to power after ruling Mexico for 71 years, from 1929-2000. Major outlets are reporting a win for the PRI, based on exit polls but not on official results. Nevertheless, here is a screen grab from Peña Nieto's website taken tonight around 11:30 pm EST:
In the meantime, Peña Nieto's main opponent, Andrés Manuel López Obrador has the following information appearing on his website: "Under official order, the service on this site has been suspended until further notice."
In addition, the featured video on López Obrador's YouTube channel has been taken down and all is says is this:
