During the holiday break, Argentina made history when the nation’s Congress approved a bill to legalize abortion. On this first Latino Rebels Radio episode of 2021, host Julio Ricardo Varela welcomes Columbia University professor María Victoria Murillo to discuss why this news was so significant. Originally from Argentina, Murillo is also director of the Institute of Latin American Studies and host of the Unpacking Latin America podcast.
