MIAMI — Everyday Floridians are launching an ad to thank Gov. Ron DeSantis for destroying the state they call home.

DeSantis recently released a self-serving, narcissistic ad. In the piano-scored peon to his own greatness, Ron reads letters thanking him for everything he’s done for the state.

His ad left a few things out, so a group of concerned Floridians released an update to more accurately capture the full range of sentiment toward Gov. DeSantis from across the Sunshine State.

This one-minute ad takes on DeSantis’ transphobic legislation, his attacks on peaceful protest, and perhaps most important, his whole whiny grievance thing.

Since Gov. DeSantis refuses to hold public forums and frequently bans adversarial journalists from his press conferences, videos like these are an important vehicle for providing feedback to the state’s chief executive.

The ad is quickly racking up views.
