Danny Trejo is an actor and entrepreneur who has starred in over 300 films, but life wasn’t always so easy. Trejo had a tough upbringing, one that led him in and out of the juvenile hall and eventually in prison until he was 27 years old.
Trejo now owns Trejo’s Tacos, Trejo’s Cantina, and Trejo’s Donuts in Los Angeles. And he regularly volunteers as a counselor for a drug rehabilitation program in the area as well as continuing his acting career.
Latino USA host, Maria Hinojosa, sits down with Trejo to discuss his trajectory and how he’s making the most out of life these days.
