Less than 36 hours after Puerto Rico governor Wanda Vázquez announced that the U.S. territory would gradually reopen in the middle of a global coronavirus pandemic, another earthquake struck the island’s southern region.
Crisis response in Puerto Rico continues to be a challenge, and questions still remain if the Vázquez administration is even following the advice of scientists and public health officials.
