The events surrounding why Mark Lane is now speaking out started after he formed a Boycott Murrieta, California page on Facebook. That page has over 3,000 likes, and it had also led to a Facebook page called “Boycott Mark Lane and his Boycott, CA Group.”
The “Boycott Mark Lane” page no longer exists, but screen grabs of some of the comments would confirm why it was taken down:
However, other NSFW comments continued to be shared on the Boycott Murrieta CA page:
Another active Facebook critic of Lane is the 4Life4Freedom blog, which is running a poll to “boycott Lane’s company.” The 4Life4Freedom blog is also advertising a Border Convoy from “Murrieta to McAllen.”

The event is being planned in support of the city, the group’s official Border Convoy as well as the presentation of more than 35,000 petition signers from our around the country to city officials in support of Murrieta’s stand.
The Border Convoy, a joint effort of the local Murrieta group, Grassfire.com, LibertyNews.com, Guerilla Media Network and Overpasses for America, departs Murrieta on Saturday, August 2nd and will travel along the U.S. border with McAllen, Texas as a final destination. The Convoy will provide support for those working to secure the border, call on America’s elected officials to oppose legislation that does nothing to secure the border, bring attention to the fact that our borders are wide open and stand in support of other communities dealing with scenarios similar to that of Murrieta and its Border Patrol facility.
Friday’s event will feature speakers such as Ron Zermeno, John Sullivan (America, The Movie), Eric Odom (Presenting Petition Signatures on behalf of the Border Convoy and Grassfire.com) and several Murrieta area residents. The event is being billed as a peaceful evening aimed at thanking the good people of Murrieta for their stand and announcing the official launch of the National Border Convoy.
