Looks like the worldwide leader in sports has realized that when it comes to U.S. Latinos, boxing (no pun intended) us into limited language corners no longer makes sense. On Monday morning, The Los Angeles Times reported that ESPN is premiering a new bilingual show called Nación ESPN. According to the report, the one-hour program will air Mondays at 5pmET on ESPN2 and will have three hosts: Jorge Sedano, Bernardo Osuna and Marly Rivera.

Although the show will be presented in English, guests appearing on “Nación ESPN” can speak in Spanish if they prefer. The bilingual hosts will summarize remarks in English in such cases. Taped interviews conducted in Spanish will have English subtitles.
