To dab or not to dab? That is probably not a question politicians would ever consider during televised debates, but looks like Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D) went there during Wednesday’s night California’s Senate debate with opponent Kamala Harris, also a Democrat.

The Sanchez dab made Harris pause.

After the debate, Harris’ communications director used the dab moment to criticize Sanchez’s performance:
Her dab was as weak as the rest of her debate performance #CALSenDebate16 #CASenate https://t.co/OB9EKtf1jj

Soon enough, a Sanchez spokesperson praised his boss for dabbing with a claim that it was for millennials:
@cmaiduc @jpanzar @philwillon And this is why Millennials support @Loretta2016 for Senate. PPIC poll: Loretta 38, @KamalaHarris 24. Boom!

If you are interested, Harris has a commanding lead over Sanchez in the latest polling.
