You might not be one of the four million (and growing) who has already viewed the following Facebook video posted Friday night by Hamilton: An American Musical, so if you haven’t, you should. Here is what actor Brandon Victor Dixon said to Vice President-elect Mike Pence, who attended the show.
This is what Dixon told Broadway.com later on Friday night about Pence attending the show:
“I saw [Pence] enjoying it with whoever he was with, and I hope he remembers us. I truly believe we had an affect. It was a message from the producers the creative and the cast. If you have differences, say something! What better place than on this stage telling this story with these people? I hope he thinks of us every time he has to deal with an issue or talk about a bill or present anything.”
Boom.
By the way, this is how the President-elect is spinning it:
Our wonderful future V.P. Mike Pence was harassed last night at the theater by the cast of Hamilton, cameras blazing. This should not happen!

The Theater must always be a safe and special place. The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize!
