With all the focus on El Salvador (Romero’s canonization) and Nicaragua (Ortega’s government), news of a spontaneous migrant caravan occurred in Honduras over the weekend. This comes at a time when Vice President Pence is urging Central American countries to do more so that their citizens don’t leave their countries. But, as with anything involving U.S. policy in Central America, it’s not so simple. We talk with Martín Pineda of CARECEN in Los Angeles about what is happening in Honduras.
