As with any organic movement, goals evolve. What might have begun as a march against Mexico's old guard PRI party is turning into a social movement that calls for true democracy, justice, transformation, and change, not only for Mexico, but for the whole world. This is #YoSoy132 and it is just starting. Some call it a "Mexican Spring," but no matter what you call it, it is here and it is growing.
This is an #OWS vibe, and Mexico is waking up. Click here for more information about the movement. According to the site, the mission statement is clear:
"The goal of this movement is put aside what makes us different and shout out what unites us: a desire for a free and informed election for voters, as well as democracy and equality in the media."
